Following on from their very popular talk detailing The 1848 Monster Meeting on Sliabh na mBán, Robert Duggan and Jim Ryan will continue the story which unfolded after the rally. The talk will include details of the guerrilla warfare and flying column tactics adopted by the rebels, the subsequent reprisals, and will illustrate the end of the famine story in this area.
