‘Adventures in Astronomy’ – Tuesday 4th March @ 6.30pm in Nenagh library
As part of Astronomy Week, Nenagh library is delighted to welcome John Flannery who will give a presentation entitled ‘Adventures in Astronomy.’ Discussing why we had the strong displays of northern lights in recent months and the possibility of more to come, John will cover the celestial sights that anyone can enjoy with just basic equipment and discuss how one could take an interest in astronomy further. If the sky is clear, the Moon, Venus, and Jupiter are fine sights that can be viewed through his telescope on the night. This event is free and open to all.
An event every week that begins at 11:15 am on Thursday, repeating until 14th January 2026
