Carrick-on-Suir Library presents “A Chip Off The Block Of Earth: How The Moon Was Formed”.
Cathal O’Donghaile from SouthEast Astronomy will give a talk about how our Moon formed as part of Irish Astronomy Week 2024. He is an active astronomer with a keen interest in radio astronomy. Cathal’s talk will cover how the Moon was initially formed and will explain how it became the sight we know and love from our night skies.
