Clonmel Library are proud to host this new exhibition by Jacqueline Gartlan. Jacqueline is a self-taught oil painter who was chosen as a participant in Sky’s “Portrait Artist of the Year” in 2021. She has previously exhibited in Cahir, Naas and Dungarvan and has also completed numerous commissions. Describing her work Jacqueline says: “I strive to capture a sense of place or being.  I’m interested in what and who has gone before, and that influence in the now.  I am also constantly inspired by the beautiful Irish landscape and seascape, and how the light falls on nature.” Jacqueline’s exhibition will run from the 18th of November to the 30th of November.
