Join Jim of Jim O’ the Mills and his daughter, Cáit Ní Riain, as they explore the songs, story, and life of Percy French. Percy French’s songs are among Jim’s favourites to sing, and he can be heard singing the classics like “The Darling Girl from Clare”, “Whistling Phil McHugh”, and “Cutting the Corn” in Creeslough every Thursday night at their weekly session in Upperchurch. Percy French was a masterful lyricist, and his lyrics are full of wit, humour, and emotion, set to enchanting melodies.

This promises to be a hugely enjoyable evening for anyone with a love of story and song.

Booking for this event is not required. Just turn up at 6:45pm on Wednesday the 14th of May.
