Tipperary Studies is dedicated to documenting and preserving the County’s rich cultural, social, economic and sporting histories. Whether you’re interested in researching history, tracing your family tree or studying for a school project we have the materials and resources available to meet your needs.
Tipperary’s Studies vast and ever growing collection on the county’s history and heritage includes books, journals, local newspapers, maps, images including photos and postcards, archives and ephemera. Our ongoing Digitisation Project focuses on making much of the unique Tipperary material available in digital format.
An exhaustive list of servicemen who died during the Great War or as a result of injuries received. The Archive has expanded on the list of entries recorded in Ireland’s Memorial Records and gives added detail about family connections, residence, etc., where such has been identified. Tipperary’s War graves and Irish servicewomen are also recorded.
